ND Academic and Career & Technical Education Scholarships
Two new scholarship opportunities are available for high school seniors beginning with the 2009-10 graduating class.

ND State Student Incentive Grant Program
The SSIG program, also known as the State Grant program, provides need-based grants for North Dakota college students.

Technology Occupations Student Loan Forgiveness Program
The Technology Occupations Student Loan Program will reduce student loan indebtedness by up to $1,000 per year subject to a maximum of $3,000 for those who have graduated in a technology related field and been employed in a technology occupation in North Dakota for one year.

Teacher Shortage Loan Forgiveness Program
The Teacher Scholarship Shortage Loan Forgiveness Program will reduce student loan indebtedness by up to $1,000 per year subject to a maximum of $3,000 for those who teach at a grade level or in a content area identified as a teacher shortage area by the superintendent of public instruction.

Tuition Waivers Available at NDUS Institutions
Senior citizens, peace officers, and fire fighters are just some of the groups of students who are eligible for tuition or other fees to be waived for some programs if certain conditions are met.

North Dakota Scholars Program
North Dakota's best and brightest high school graduates receive a financial incentive to remain in North Dakota for college thanks to the North Dakota Scholars Program.

How Do I Apply for Financial Aid?
Financial aid funds can be limited, so it's important to apply early. The first step is to apply for admission to the college of your choice and then complete the U.S. Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after January 1 as possible.

North Dakota Indian Scholarship Program
The North Dakota Indian Scholarship assists American Indian students in obtaining a college education by providing scholarships ranging in amount from $500 to $2000 per year to approximately 150 to 175 eligible applicants each year.
