BISMARCK, N.D. - Dr. Marsha Krotseng, Vice Chancellor Strategic Planning and Executive Director College Technical Educational Council has been selected to be the first female president at Bluefield State College, Bluefield, West Virginia. The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission will meet Friday, August 10 to confirm the Board of Governors decision. If confirmed, Dr. Krotseng's presidency at Bluefield State College will begin in September.
Dr. Krotseng stated, "It has been a privilege serving the North Dakota University System. I have truly enjoyed working with the many dedicated individuals - Chancellor, SBHE members, NDUS office colleagues, campus presidents, faculty, staff, and students - who, each day, demonstrate their strong commitment to the System's mission of enhancing North Dakota's quality of life and economic and social vitality. I've also appreciated the many opportunities to work closely with state policymakers and employers and to develop partnerships with other agencies focusing on North Dakota's workforce needs."
Dr. Krotseng has been with the North Dakota University System since 2007. She has previous experience working in West Virginia at both the state and campus levels.
