CNA Training now available on the NDSCS Wahpeton Campus Posted on 8/19/2014
Beginning September 2014, the North Dakota State College of Science will start offering CNA Training (Certified Nursing Assistant) through the trainND department on the Wahpeton campus.
The CNA program is designed for students who are interested in preparing themselves for employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant or who are interested in a career in nursing. CNA's often find employment in skilled nursing home facilities and acute or home health care.
Classes will combine both lecture and hands-on lab instruction coupled with 16 hours of clinical experience. An emphasis will be placed on working with clients in a long-term care setting. All classes will be held in the Mayme Green Allied Health Center and will meet from 5 - 10 p.m. on weeknights and 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturdays on the following dates:
• September: 22, 24-25, 27, 29
• October: 1-2, 4, 6-8, 13, 15
