NDSCS names Dryburgh Head Women's Basketball Coach

North Dakota State College of Science Athletic Director Stu Engen announced today that Thomas Dryburgh has been named the new Head Women's Basketball Coach as well as Athletic Marketing/Fundraising coordinator.
Dryburgh replaces Paulette Stein, who announced in March her plans to retire on May 31, 2014 after 11 years as the College's Head Women's Basketball Coach and Athletic Marketing/Fundraising coordinator.
Dryburgh comes to NDSCS from the University of North Dakota (UND) where he served as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach from 2012-2013. His numerous duties there included program administration, recruitment/scouting, schedule development, community relations/outreach, multi-media marketing, performance management, strategic planning, leadership/coaching, relationship development, needs assessment, training and development, and data analysis. Dryburgh also worked as the Director of Basketball Operations at UND from 2008-2012.
An NDSCS alum who graduated with an associate's degree in liberal arts in 2006, Dryburgh also earned a bachelor's degree in social science (2009) and a master's degree in educational leadership (2011) from UND.
"I firmly believe that we have hit this one out of the park by hiring Thomas Dryburgh," said Engen. "Not only is he an NDSCS alum who played basketball for the Wildcats, but he is a North Dakota native with valuable recruiting experience within the region. His presence will represent the College well for years to come."
