Faculty & Staff The North Dakota University System employs more than 13,000 people, including about 2,300 faculty members and more than 4,000 staff members who provide services in areas such as student housing, food services, counseling and maintenance. The NDUS also employs more than 3,700 students, providing them one source of income to fund their college education. The remaining positions are temporary assignments in a variety of short-term campus functions, both instructional and non-instructional.
